Band Aid Tin

Band Aid Tin

Last Monday was Stamp Club.  I always get so nervous before club.  I believe everyone in club, with the exception of 2 people, have been stamping longer than I have. My ladies are amazing and are always so sweet and so much fun.  I’m so lucky to be able to get together with them every month.  Even though I get nervous, I look forward to it! 🙂

This month was no exception.  What could we make that they would like?  And I was sick…. so it made it a little tougher to think.  We got some new products at eP, so I thought that they may want to try it!  I love the Band Aid tins from ProvoCraft.  They are just so stinkin’ cute.  So, that was my starting point.  I knew I wanted to use the new Glimmer Mist, but what colors should I choose?  I started by picking some background paper.  In this case, I used Chatterbox paper.  So, I used Key Lime Pie Mist and Vintage Pink.  It is so hard to capture the true beauty of this mist.  But, for the Key Lime Pie, I had just punched a circle out of white cardstock and spritzed the glitter mist.  It has a shimmer, but the key thing is that the liquid is also tinted.  So, that green circle was just a simple white cardstock.

We used the Cuttlebug 2 step flower scribble for the flower. The base of the flower was Pretty In Pink cardstock and the top of the flower was Light Weight Chipboard spritzed with the Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist.  We then took a pop up glue dot and rubbed it in some Lemonade Yellow Fun Flock.  Thanks for the idea Daisy!  We pierced the scallops and used the White Souffle Pen to accent it.

And you know my favorite final touch…… CindyRibbon! 🙂

Thanks for looking.
