Free Friday – Glimmer Mist

Published by at 5:28 am under Uncategorized

OK….. Who wants a free bottle of Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels?

Gimmer Mist

We have sold lots of glimmer mist lately….. but I don’t see what people are doing with them. Give me a link to your project using glimmer mist and you will be entered into the drawing for a free bottle. Haven’t made a project yet? You have until midnight PST Sunday to create a project with it! 🙂

For those of you that don’t have glimmer mist yet, you really need to try it. I’ll even cut you a break this time if you don’t own any Glimmer Mist yet. You can upload projects that have some sort of shimmer/glitter to be entered into this drawing! 🙂

Come on everyone! I wanna see some shimmer! 🙂

I don’t have any! I’ve been so wanting to try some. I used spray glitter on a 50th wedding invitation for my parents and wasn’t really happy with the results…as the glitter could easily come off. Here’s the link to it…I really would love this!http://waldeewee.blogspot.com/2007/09/ahhhthe-invitations-are-done.html

Hi there, I saw this link through Allison’s blog and thought I would share a technique I have done: here’s the link with some cards I made with the Glimmer Mist

    http://penny-penelopespitstop.blogspot.com/2007/07/mini-fairy-card-set.html

You spray card with the Glimmer Mist then lay some clingfilm (clearwrap) over the wet ink and gently move the clearwrap to wrinkle it. Leave it to dry completely then remove the wrap and you are left with a lovely textured-looking background.

  13. Hi! I don’t have any glimmer mist yet. That’s surprising, since glimmer and glitter are my favorite embellishments to use! Here is a glittery Christmas tree I made today:

    Thanks!

  14. I don’t have any of this yummy stuff yet, but I’ve been seeing it everywhere! Here is a card that I made that used glittery paper. I think I use some kind of glitter/sparkle on almost everything I make. I bet this is an perfect product!

I don’t have any yet but plan to pick up some and have 6-8 on my immediate wish list (including frosty nights – hint, hint!).

Here’s a shimmery card I made recently – it may not be entirely clear that the candy corn, sentiment, dots and orange squiggly on the DP are all slightly raised and sparkly; the house etc are also stamped on SU sparkly cardstock:

This is the first time I’ve heard of Glimmer mist! Surprising considering the number of blogs I surf!

I am a Glitter-holic! Here’s the latest card I made with SU glitter.

I am guessing the mist would have been ideal for this!
